Acceptance

By using this website or signing an engagement letter with Brass Tally Audit Studio, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site and do not proceed with an engagement.

Services described

Descriptions of independent audits, control reviews, special-purpose examinations, and close readiness are informational. A binding scope, fee, and timeline exist only in a signed engagement letter. Website fee figures are starting guidance, not offers of fixed price without scoping.

Intellectual property

Site content, including Field Notes articles, branding, and design, belongs to Brass Tally Audit Studio or its licensors. You may not copy, republish, or commercially reuse materials without written consent. Working papers and auditor’s reports created under an engagement remain subject to the engagement letter and applicable professional standards.

Client responsibilities

Management remains responsible for the financial statements, internal controls, and the completeness of information provided. Misstatements arising from withheld documents or inaccurate representations are the client’s responsibility.

Liability

To the extent permitted by Japanese law, Brass Tally Audit Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from website use. Liability arising from professional engagements is limited as stated in the engagement letter and applicable professional regulations. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Website accuracy

We aim to keep site information current. We do not warrant that every page is free from error or that access will be uninterrupted.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts with competence over Tokushima Prefecture, unless mandatory rules require otherwise.
